Katrina Relief Efforts. Don't miss "Give It Up", Sunday October 2nd
at the Embarcadero YMCA, a morning of master classes and an afternoon
of energetic dance performances with 100% of the profits to the YMCA
of USA Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.

Freeplay Dance Crew is an organization that uses dance as a means to
benefit the Bay Area community. Freeplay has organized three major
benefit performances for local organizations including Youth Speaks,
Mercy High School Performing Arts, and the YMCA. In addition to
organizing benefit events, Freeplay regularly donates performances
for local organizations including the Jon Sims Performing Arts
Center, Dance Mission, the LGBT Center, Boys and Girls Club of
America, and more. Freeplay also performs regularly around the Bay
Area at events including SF Pride, Halloween in the Castro, and has
also appeared in the San Francisco Hip Hop Dance Festival.

The Embarcadero YMCA builds strong kids, strong families, and strong
communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind and
body. As a national organization, the YMCA is in a unique position
to provide immediate human services to those in the most hurricane
affected areas. The Embarcadero YMCA is pleased to partner with
Freeplay Dance Crew in this unique event which will raise funds going
directly to those most in need.
