The Wine Country Treasure Hunt

A sleuthing adventure in historic downtown Sonoma, from the creator
of the Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt.

Proceeds benefit the Sonoma Community Center.

The Wine Country Treasure Hunt is our latest sleuthing adventure,
with clues leading to secret locations in and around Sonoma Plaza.
Teams traveling by foot will seek out obscure landmarks, forgotten
architectural delights and secret vestiges of Sonoma's colorful past.

Players can come organized as a team or can meet and join hunters at
the event. The hunt will conclude with an awards ceremony at the
Sonoma Community Center.

Familiarity with downtown Sonoma, or with local history, is not
necessary: map-reading skills, a creative spirit, and the ability to
work collaboratively with teammates are more important. Many clues
relate to general knowledge, current events, the arts and popular
culture, and each player will receive a detailed map and street
index, and an alphabetical list of local businesses, including
addresses.

The treasure hunt starts at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 East
Napa St. (at 3rd St. East), Sonoma. Registration begins at 3:00 p.m.
and the hunt runs from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m.. Tickets are $35 in advance,
$40 at the door; half-price for students and seniors.
