Crucible Members are invited to a Members-Only Sneak Preview on
Friday September 16th from 5pm - 7pm. Enjoy refreshments, meet other
members and have look at the inventory in advance of the general public.

Mad Scientist Surplus Sale - both Saturday and Sunday
Come and be a part of a Crucible tradition! Check out industrial
grade materials and machines that have been appropriated for a second
life: industrial-grade stainless steel, scientific glass supplies and
equipment and tools.

Bronze Pour at 1:30pm on Saturday
Youth Art Show Reception at 2pm on Saturday


Fix-A-Thon - both Saturday and Sunday
Our annual Fix-A-Thon is your chance to bring in broken items and let
us fix them for you - cracked bike frames, neon that's lost its glow,
ornamental metalwork and decorative arts, jewelry, three-legged
furniture, etc. Our friendly staff will do their best to restore your
items to full working order for a fraction of regular repair costs.
We may not be able to fix everything, but we'll do our best. All
proceeds benefit our Youth and Adult Educational Programs!

Open House - Saturday only
Come see welding, blacksmithing, neon, glass flameworking,
woodworking, a live bronze pour and more as our entire 48,000 square
foot warehouse comes alive with arts and crafts demonstrations and
hands-on activities. Bring your kids! We'll have special activities
for youth, hands-on projects, and popcorn!
