About the GLBT Historical Society 20th Anniversary Event -
Founded in 1985 as a community-based, membership supported,
organization the GLBTHS has worked to increase public understanding,
appreciation and affirmation of the history and the culture of gay,
lesbian, bisexual, transgender and other sexual minority individuals
and communities. Thousands of people visit the GLBTHS each year;
they leave with a broader, deeper, more genuine appreciation of the
diversity and resiliency of GLBT lives and community. Please join us
as we celebrate twenty years of community service.
We are especially grateful to all our donors, sponsors, and
volunteers in the 20 years, you've built a strong foundation for our
