Ooh La Luz

Fri, Sep 2
8:30pm-1:00am

$10

The OOH-LA-LUZ are some of the luscious lovelies from the Yard Dogs,
dancing burlesque in front of a cabaret-style band. Almost
unspeakably sexy, the Ooh-La-Luz dance in extravagant costumes of
their own design. A tantalizing step back into the early 20th
century, ribald and classy in equal parts.

Do yourself a favor and peruse: www.ooolaluz.com
(Yes, their url is spelled differently.)

Opening are two local rock spectacles, unafraid of the swagger and
strut:

First are the boys of GRIDDLE, breathtaking with their epic chords
and angular rhythms. They're re-writing the big riff playbook while
singing beautiful harmonies.

TRIPLE COBRA bring their pansexual, high-kicking, fishnets-and-boa-
clad glam rock, complete with bright lights, writhing, and audacious
indulgence. Slutty glitter and delicious glitz.

And then, it's all about the OOH-LA-LUZ (Ooh the Light). Lovely
ladies with tricks up their satin sleeves. Vaudeville charm and
seductive surprises that'll make you giggle and want to wiggle and
leave you begging for more.
