Second Annual San Francisco Native Jamboree
Fri, Sep 16
6:00pm-11:00pm
60.00 advance tickets or 65.00 at the door.
The Second Annual San Francisco Native Jamboree is a great party and
homecoming celebration bringing together those who share the common
bond of being born or raised in San Francisco. It's an opportunity
for S.F. natives to reminisce and reconnect. September 16th has been
proclaimed San Francisco Native Day by Mayor Gavin Newsom.
"Because of the 2004 Jamboree's great success, we are planning an
even more exciting celebration for 2005," stated Linda Molinari
Mansouria, CFO of San Francisco Generations, Inc. and President of
Make It Happen, LLC and The Meetings Academy. "We are adding to the
celebration by giving three awards during the celebration" added
Debra Mugnani Monroe, CEO of San Francisco Generations and President,
Monroe Personnel Service LLC. "'The San Francisco Classic' provides
recognition to a newly designed architectural landmark. This year's
recipient is SBC Park designed by H.O.K. The 'San Francisco Native
Hall of Fame' recognizes a person who has made a difference in our
community by either improving the quality of life or bringing
national or world attention to the city. This year's posthumous
recipient is Herb Caen and his son, Christopher Caen, will accept the
award. We are also giving an award to the San Francisco Native family
with the most generations in attendance."
Proceeds from the event benefit The San Francisco Conservation Corps
whose mission is to help San Francisco's young people by providing
job training and educational opportunities while addressing the
community's needs.
There will be a delicious buffet, dancing to the Jazzaholics, and
entertainment throughout the evening. Raffle tickets will be on sale
for a chance to win nearly 50 raffle prizes donated by San Francisco
hotels, restaurants and businesses. You must be over 21 to attend.
Event sponsors include Pete Brannigan, Realtor Associate, B.J. Droubi
and Company, Make It Happen LLC, and Monroe Personnel Service LLC
and Temptime.
