Julia Butterfly for the Buffalo Field Campaign

Julia Butterfly Hill, writer, poet, and activist will read poetry and
speak as part of a fundraiser for the Buffalo Field Campaign (BFC),
the only group working in the field every day to stop the slaughter
and harassment of Yellowstone's wild buffalo.

The Buffalo Field Campaign (BFC) works in the field to stop the
slaughter and harassment of some of the last herds of wild buffalo.
Volunteers from around the world defend buffalo on their traditional
winter habitat in the Yellowstone area, and advocate for their
protection. BFC's daily patrols stand with the buffalo on the ground
they choose to be on, and document every move made against them.

Julia's historic 738-day tree-sit in "Luna" brought international
attention to the plight of the ancient redwood forests and
liquidation logging.
