Theatre in the Woods is pleased to present our fourth annual
production - a collection of David Ives' witty and wildly original
one-act comedies, teeming with hilarious characters pondering life's
metaphysical questions and discovering the blunders and triumphs of
courtship. Enchanting and perplexing, incisively intelligent and
side-splittingly funny, this collection of stories will challenge and
entertain while testing your capacity for disorientation and
delight. We are proud to bring you a magical and eccentric
theatrical experience as part of a leisurely and invigorating hike
through Woodside's beautiful redwood forest.

Theatre in the Woods is located at 2170 Bear Gulch Road (West) in
Woodside, CA 94062.

From the North:

Take 280 South to the 35/92 West/Bunker Hill exit (in the direction
of Half Moon Bay). Turn left at the stop sign onto Skyline Blvd.,
continue to the intersection with 92, and turn right at the light
toward Half Moon Bay. Pass the reservoirs. Wind your way up to
Skyline Blvd./ Hwy 35, just past Skylawn. Immediately after you see a
wide driveway on your right for Skylawn Memorial Park, you'll need to
turn left onto Skyline Blvd. Continue driving on Skyline for
approximately 11 miles. You'll eventually see a sign for Bear Gulch
Rd. East - keep going. Bear Gulch West is approximately another 1/4
mile. Turn right onto Bear Gulch Road West.

Continue past Allen Rd. which forks off to the left. Stay right.
You'll eventually get to a crest with a fence and meadow on your
left. Please park alongside the other cars (or anywhere you're able).
The actual address is 2170 Bear Gulch Rd West.

Travel time from SF: a little over an hour.

From the South:

Take 280 North to the Sand Hill Rd. exit. Turn slight left to take
the Sand Hill Rd West ramp. Merge onto Sand Hill Rd. and continue for
approximately 2 miles. Ignore the "Bear Gulch Rd" on your right.
Turn right onto Portola Rd. Make a sharp u-turn type left onto La
Honda Rd / 84 and continue for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto
Skyline Blvd / 35 at the big four-way stop. Continue for
approximately 2 miles until you pass a yellow sign for Bear Gulch
West. Then turn left onto Bear Gulch Road West (if you pass a sign
for Bear Gulch East, you've gone too far and will need to turn around).

Continue past Allen Rd., which forks off to the left. Stay right.
You'll eventually get to a crest with a fence and meadow on your
left. Please park alongside the other cars (or anywhere you're able).

From the East:

Take 880 to 92 West. Pass the reservoirs. Wind your way up to Skyline
Blvd./ Hwy 35, just past Skylawn. Immediately after you see a wide
driveway on your right for Skylawn Memorial Park, you'll need to turn
left onto Skyline Blvd. Continue driving on Skyline for approximately
11 miles. You'll eventually see a sign for Bear Gulch Rd. East - keep
going. Bear Gulch West is approximately another 1/4 mile. Turn right
onto Bear Gulch Road West.

OR

Take 880 to the 84 West / Decoto Rd exit toward the Dumbarton Bridge.
Turn left onto 84 West (Portions toll). Turn left onto Marsh Rd/84.
Merge onto 101 North / 84 West toward San Francisco. Take the 84
West / Woodside Rd exit toward Seaport Blvd. Take the Woodside Rd
ramp. Merge onto 84 West. Turn right (North) onto Skyline Blvd / 35
at the four-way stop. Continue approximately 2 miles until you see a
yellow sign for Bear Gulch West. Turn left onto Bear Gulch Road West.
If you pass Bear Gulch Road East, you've gone too far.

THEN

Continue past Allen Rd., which forks off to the left. Stay right.
You'll eventually get to a crest with a fence and meadow on your
left. Please park alongside the other cars (or anywhere you're able).
