Chicken Run at Santa Cruz Guerilla Drive-In

Mon, Aug 8
8:00 PM

Free!

Hope you read our little report about last Friday's benefit. This
Friday will be swell, I think. Drag out your bestest friends and all
the kids in your neighborhood and show your support for free
community movies. The long awaited....

Santa Cruz Guerilla Drive-In Presents

Chicken Run

A spunky and hilarious story about the yearning for freedom in the
heart of a very determined hen on a farm in the English country-side
told in claymation splendor. Also a subtle polemic on the evils of
burrito pollo. Wonderfully improbable, anachronistic and quixotic.
From the creators of Wallace and Gromit. Sean is hosting.

PLUS thrilling and funny short films, an intermission, and great
company.

Friday August 5th, 8:00pm
Railroad Tracks at Fair Ave, Santa Cruz

BRING lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, friends, wine, & food to share
for intermission. Donations are greatly appreciated and directly
support the project and the Revolutionary Garden Society who sponsors
Guerilla Drive-In. (We are currently saving to get a spare projector
bulb.)

SANTA CRUZ GUERILLA DRIVE-IN is an outdoor movie theatre under the
stars that springs up unexpectedly in the fields and industrial
wastelands. Beyond showing great movies and bringing a broad
community together, part of our mission is helping reclaim public
space and transforming our urban environment into the joyful
playground it should be.
