Salvaged, Art based on Recycled Materials

What happens when a bunch of artists get a hold of our trash and cast-
offs? See the results in Salvaged, at STUDIO Gallery in San
Francisco. The show was inspired by a number of our gallery artists,
who specialize in using reclaimed, recycled or found objects in their
work. It's a fun, eclectic show, with work ranging from paintings,
mixed media pieces and collages, to furniture, mirrors and even
wearable pieces. Artists in the show include Lola, Jane Woolverton,
Rab Terry, Bill Dunlap, Vivena, Brandon Smith, Estelle Akamine, James
Garcia, Brian Behnke, Carol Aust, Jake Wrench, Stephen Bucci, and
Rachel Hannah. We're also happy to welcome Mark Faigenbaum, Jasmin
Zorlu, and Ginny Parsons, who are showing with us for the first time.

The show runs from August 3rd - 28th, and the opening reception will
be Saturday, August 6th, 4-8 pm. The gallery is located at 1718A
Polk Street (between Clay & Washington) in San Francisco and is open
Wednesday - Friday 11 am - 8 pm, Saturday + Sunday 11 am - 6 pm, and
