bohemian takes command of the USS Lunada for the month of September. =20=

A staple of the Lunada open mic, Norman brings literary hooligans =20
Darren De Leon and Paul Flores along for a special reunion of the =20
Mission District's most dangerous spoken word crew: Los Delicados!

The SF Bay Area Guardian called Los Delicados "a post-modern Last =20
Poets meet P=E9rez-Prado, a Thelonius Monk meets Coco Fusco and Lenny =20=

Bruce." Responsible for popularizing the word descarga as a literary =20
style and described by Rene Ya=F1ez as a group that "will do anything =20=

in the street," Los Delicados are resurfacing from their self-imposed =20=

"la alerta rojo general." Since 1996 the spoken word performance trio =20=

has been taking their act to "where it's needed most," they form part =20=

of a new generation of Chicano/Latino cultural warriors who are not =20
only picking up where their predecessors left off, but keeping an ear =20=

to the needs of the community and youth.
