Elders Speak ~ A Benefit for the International Mayan Peace Council

Join Mayan Elders as they share their wisdom and visions of peace in
an exclusive film from their homeland in Guatemala. Opening prayer
and presentation by Mayan Spiritual Leader OmeAkaEhekatl Erick Gonzalez.

FEATURING:

- World- Class Indigenous Art Auction and Marketplace with jewelry,
weavings, paintings, clothing, and native artwork and sacred
instruments from around the world

- "Elders Speak" Film and Presentation with messages to serve our
Mother Earth and inspire peacfeul alliances among nations and
communities

- Interactive Earth Mandala made from flowers, stones, plants, sand,
and other sacred objects from the Earth. (Arrive at 4:30 to
participate in its creation!)

- Mayan Cacao - savor the ancient ceremonial drink noted by ancient
Maya as the "Drink of the Gods." Light food and snacks will also be
provided.

All proceeds will contribute to a scholarship fund to support Mayan
Elders and International Delegates in participating in the 2005
Council for Peaceful Alliances between Sovereign Nations and
Organizations in Guatemala this October 23-31.

The goal of this Council is to bring together the efforts and actions
of all People in support of each other and the preservation of all
Life on Mother Earth.

Admission is $15 at the door. We will also be collecting donations in
new or good condition of stuffed animals, clothing, toys, and
ceremonial gifts to share our adundance with Mayan families in
Guatemala.
