8th Annual Crockett Art & Wine Festival

Sat, Aug 6 - Sun, Aug 7
10 AM - 6 PM

FREE

Crockett's largest street festival is back for another exhilarating
year of music, food, art, and wine! During the first weekend of
August, musicians and artisans will take over the streets of downtown
Crockett to celebrate summer and the creative spirit of this urban
hamlet. Now in its 8th year, the annual Crockett Art and Wine
Festival is even bigger than before! The Crockett Arts Alliance has
expanded the weekend's entertainment to include a broader multi-
cultural mix of art, music, and food. Plus the festival has been
relocated to Pomona Street in downtown Crockett to accommodate the
expanded lineup and to give the public easy access to the events.

Highlights of this fun-filled celebration include artist booths, open
studios, performing artists, and a large variety of food, beverages,
and wine. There will also be live art demonstrations by numerous
artists including Ralph McCaskey, who will be creating glass
sculptures onsite; and Pino Pagni, a ceramic artist who will be
'throwing pots' throughout the day. To entertain children, the
Crockett Art and Wine Festival has created a Youth Arts Activities
Area as a dedicated space for young minds to explore their creativity.

Live musical entertainment will be featured on the main stage
throughout the day. Designed to satisfy a variety of musical tastes,
the festival's assorted lineup of bands will range from such groups
as the Beverly Stovall Blues Band, The Terry Henry Trio (jazz), and
Mucho Axe (Brazilian/South American World Grooves), to the Big Band
sounds of the Generation Gap Band, and the thundering drums of the
acclaimed San Francisco Taiko Dojo. The Crockett Art and Wine
Festival is a free event with fun for the entire family!
