Social Soul, A Project That Displays Users’ Twitter Streams on a 360-Degree Rig of Monitors and Mirrors

Social Soul is an “immersive digital experience” from experiential marketing agency MKG designed by artists Lauren McCarthy and Kyle McDonald that uploads users’ Twitter streams into a structure full of monitors and mirrors that displays it back at them from all angles.

The project, which was created for Delta Air Lines at TED2014, used an algorithm to determine a “Soul Mate” for each user after their Twitter stream, and then displayed that social stream as well. After leaving, each half of the “Soul Mate” received a tweet connecting them.
