Slow Motion Video of a Machine Gun Firing Bullets Between the Blades of an Airplane Propellor

Gavin Free and Dan Gruchy of The Slow Mo Guys fired a machine gun through the blades of a spinning airplane propeller with 120,000 fps slow motion. The video demonstrates how the sync gear used in WWI planes timed a gun’s firing to avoid hitting the blade. After a successful test firing, Free and Gruchy removed the sync gear to film bullets hitting the propeller mid-spin.

Gav and Dan venture out to the desert to film some bullets. Make sure you watch in HD for maximum bullet shockwave action!
