Shockwave, The World’s Fastest Jet-Powered Truck, Reaches Speeds of Over 375 MPH

Les Shockley created Shockwave, a modified three-tonne Peterbilt truck powered by three Pratt & Whitney J34-48 jet engines that can reach speeds of over 375 MPH. The fiery beast can blast through a quarter-mile in about six-and-a-half seconds with its 36,000 horsepower. According to co-driver Chris Darnell, Shockwave holds the Guinness World Record for “fastest jet truck in the world.” The video by Barcroft TV shows Shockwave speeding down a dragstrip at incredible speeds.
