Jimmy Kimmel Challenge: I Told My Kid I Ate All Their Halloween Candy Again

Last Halloween, late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel asked parents to tell their children they ate all their Halloween candy, film their reaction and upload it to YouTube. He chose a few of the best/worst of them and aired it on his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live. The bit was very popular, ringing in over 34 million views on its YouTube video. He issued the same challenge to parents this year and the results are just as funny. All of this year’s hilarious no-candy heartache can be seen in this video. We have featured several of Kimmel’s viewer challenges on Laughing Squid.

Jimmy Kimmel Challenge: I Got My Kid a Horrible Back-to-School Outfit

TV host Jimmy Kimmel issued a new challenge to parents: get your kid a terrible, out-of-style or embarrassing back-to-school, make them try it on, record their reaction and upload it to YouTube. In Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I Got My Kid a Horrible Back To School Outfit, check out all the kid’s outfits. Hilariously, one family told their kids that they ‘got a call’ to ‘dress more like Jesus’ and now there is a new school uniform (a burlap sack). Kimmel has challenged his viewers to record several other funny acts in the past.

Jimmy Kimmel Challenge: Unplug the TV During the Super Bowl Game

Television host Jimmy Kimmel of Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently issued another viewer challenge. This time he asked his viewers to unplug their television at a crucial moment during the Super Bowl game, film what happens and upload the results to YouTube. In Hey Jimmy Kimmel I Unplugged the TV During the Game, we get to see the best (and most irate) results of folks unexpectedly being pranked during the Super Bowl.

His challenges began last year when he first asked parents to tell their kids they ate all of their Halloween candy. Then he had a two part holiday challenge where he asked parents to give their kids an early but terrible present [1, 2].

Jimmy Kimmel Challenge: I Gave My Kids a Terrible Present Part 2

Last month, late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel sent a challenge out to parents to gift their children terrible presents, film it and submit the results on YouTube. The first compilation of confused and often, humiliated, kids was a big hit and the submissions to Kimmel’s staff didn’t stop. Parents kept gifting their children horrible items (like a jar of pickles, deodorant and a used sponge) and sending them in, resulting in a second “I gave my kids a terrible present” short of crying and disappointed kids.
