Santacon 2007 events are currently being planned around the world for the days and weeks leading up to Christmas. Over on santarchy.com I’ve been tracking the cities currently being targeted for Santarchy invasions.
Surprisingly there hasn’t been any specific event information posted for San Francisco or Los Angeles, however according to this Tribe.net thread looks like the San Francisco event is being planned for December 15th.
Oh and if you look at the comments on the Santacon 2007 blog post, you’ll see that some people are upset that the NYC Santacon was set for December 8th, not the 15th. My suggestion, have one on both days. There’s enough Santarchy to go around.

UPDATE 1: San Francisco Santacon date has been confirmed for December 15th.
UPDATE 2: It appears that Santacon LA is being planned for December 8th.

It is my understanding that the SF/Oak Santacon organization IS indeed underway, as is the Los Angeles chapter. I’ve sent a message to the SF/Oak organizer to give Santa a heads up that he needs to hook into the network and get that info out there.

It is now Dec. 03 and I cannot find any info. RE: santaconLA which is puported to be Dec. 08 on the Santacon website but which has no link.

Thank you for explaining this phenomenon! I was playing at the Union Square subway station and I noticed many Santas walking by. I got curious so I searched the Net for an answer… I’m glad it was on Dec. 8th, because it enabled me to witness this wonderful happening.
