RSS Screen Saver

RSS Screen Saver

Another cool Tiger feature is the built-in RSS screen saver visualizer. You can take any RSS feed and load it into your screen saver and the blog entries will rotate into view, one after another, via a floating, virtual spiral staircase. O’Reilly has a nice write-up on how to configure it using the RSS feed of your choice. Give it a try with your own feed, of use one of ours: Laughing Squid or Squid List.

Irrelevant, obnoxious, trolling, abusive and spam comments will not be approved. Let's keep things civil and on topic. Basically what we are saying, if your comment does not add to the conversation, it will not be approved.

Real Name & Website: For the most part do not post anonymous comments. Please list your real name and provide a link to your website, blog, Twitter account, etc. You know who we are, so we ask the same of you.
