Great idea. The growth rate has remained steady over the last few years, but it be interesting to see if the demographics are changing.

They probably did not realize that, but these days I'm seeing just the opposite. Hardly any of the web people I know go to Burning Man. In fact that the tech parties I often try to see who I can find that even goes even goes to Burning Man.

Hey, I have an idea, let's have a little Twitter poll on this. I'm actually curious myself and Twitter should be a fairly good representation of web/tech people.

Did the ROFLCon organizers realize that most of the web developers, programmers and designers in the Bay Area would be at Burning Man on August 29th?
