“Ride the Sky” is a time-lapse video created by San Diego-based filmmaker Lance Page that points at the North Star and pivots along with the movement of the stars throughout the night. The result is the appearance of stationary points of light in the sky, as the horizon rotates around them. Page has been experimenting with motion time-lapse for some, resulting in videos like “Portland Nights” in 2011.
