Revising History, Photographer Inserts Herself into Old Photographs

Revised History by Jennifer Greenburg

In her photo series “Revising History,” photographer Jennifer Greenburg replaces people in old photographs with images of herself. For added effect, she replicates their poses and expressions and wears vintage clothes. According to Greenburg, the series is her commentary on the fantasy of photography. For more on the series, see her interview with Feature Shoot.
