Rabbit Proto is an open-source project from a group of Stanford University “3D-printing fanatics” featuring 3D printer add-ons that print conductive traces. Unlike traditional circuit printers that require to be printed on a 2D surface, Rabbit Proto add-ons allow RepRap 3D printers that can use two extruders to print conductive traces within plastic designs. This effectively means embedded circuits can be printed using the Rabbit Proto add-on.
