Quakescape, A 3D Earthquake Visualization Device

Quakescape earthquake visualizer

Quakescape is a device that visualizes earthquakes in Christchurch, New Zealand by painting them on to a 3D map of the city. Different paint colors denote different earthquake magnitudes. The device was created by a team of industrial design students at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand: James Boock, Josh Newsome-White, Brooke Bowers, Hannah Warren, George Redmond, Richie Stewart and Philippa Shipley.
