Public Pool in Idaho Throws A Party for Local Dogs Before Closing for the Season

While some doggie pool parties are thrown at the beginning of the summer, the city of Nampa, Idaho threw a pool party for the neighborhood dogs at the end of the summer, right before it closed for the season. The lucky canines w happily played in the water while the city was raising money to help improve the local dog park.

Dogs have always been an important part of the American family. Many people living in our community find recreational enjoyment by walking, playing and socializing with their dog. The Dog Park in Nampa is approximately six acres. The park is fenced and allows dogs to safely run off leash. Amenities in the park include walking trails, drinking fountains, shade shelters and trees. The Nampa Dog Park continues to look for financial support to develop additional amenities such as a restroom and a pond
