Prosthesis: The Anti-Robot, A Mech Exoskeleton Designed for Racing

Jonathan Tippett and the Vancouver-based eatART — creators of the Mondo Spider — are working to create Prosthesis, an “anti-robot” mech exoskeleton designed to piloted by a human and raced like a Formula One car. So far the team has successfully created the Alpha Leg, a 2:3 scale prototype leg that has been used to work out engineering kinks and train test pilots. In order to build the full Prosthesis vehicle, the group is currently seeking funding on Indiegogo.
