PolyFauna, An Exploratory Audiovisual App From Radiohead and Universal Everything

PolyFauna Screen

PolyFauna, a collaboration between the band Radiohead, design studio Universal Everything, artist Stanley Donwood, and producer Nigel Godrich, is a free “exploratory audiovisual” app that allows users to navigate a psychedelic environment inspired by The King of Limb sessions and specifically featuring sounds and imagery from the song “Bloom”.

PolyFauna is available for free for both iOS and Android.

Inviting the user into an immersive, expansive world of primitive life, weather, sunsets, mountains and forests, Polyfauna comes from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious. It is inspired by everything from the atmospheric landscape paintings of JW Turner and Peter Doig, to the computational life forms of Karl Sims.
