Pillow Fight New York

Hot on the heels this week’s amazing San Francisco Pillow Fight, there is another Pillow Fight coming up this weekend in New York. Interactive public art group Newmindspace is producing Pillow Fight NYC, which is scheduled for this Saturday, February 18th at Union Square in New York, starting at 2pm. Last year they organized a massive Pillow Fight in Toronto.

Feathers fly and teddies soar as you converge on Union Square for a massive urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants on E 14th St. Bring a pillow to the square at 2 PM and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!

Rules:

Soft pillows only! Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. Remove glasses beforehand! The event is FREE and appropriate for ALL AGES. Wait until the signal to begin! This event is more fun with feathers ;-)

PJs optional.

Hi,
I am a producer for a German tv network. I am in New York. We would like to do a story on the pillow fight tomorrow 2pm union square in New York- film the pillow fight, ask a few people there about it.
Do you know how many people you think will show up? What time would it start? Who gives the signal? Can we interview the guy giving the signal and anyone else who knows about the pillow fights? it sounds like alot of fun. Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you,

Hola,

I would like to hit that German guy with a pillowcase full of nickels. Is that kosher?
