Squirrel Hides His Nuts In Bernese Mountain Dog’s Fur

Squirrels naturally like to hide their food for safekeeping, usually buried in the ground or in the hollow of a tree. But what’s a squirrel to do if he has neither? Shannon Apple‘s pet squirrel Wally has found that the fur of his companion Jax, a Bernese Mountain Dog, will serve just fine.

It seems that Jax serves many purposes, including acting as a dining table for Wally to enjoy his almonds

Wally also likes hiding Cheez-It crackers in Jax’s fur.
