We appreciated your diligence and understanding of the game we live by. ‘No. 6′ is what most of us grew up on, and Danger Man was our model. A man who lived by wits, training, style, etc., but not gunpowder, unless necessary. Still the standard of excellence. KAR120C should also be retired as a plate. Wow, R.I.P. Secret Agent Man… I remember watching him on B&W TV in the early 60′s, he was awesome to a young guy like me.
In ’67 I traded 7 of my best comic books and $5.00 (borrowed from my Dad) for a 45 rpm picture sleeve single of Secret Agent Man, by Johnny Rivers, I still have it too!
The Prisoner was a real mind twister when it came out, and I always enjoyed Patrick acting in other roles in other productions.
I believe he’ll be missed.

*Snort* Well aaactually, Number 6 did escape the Island in the mindbending Siries Finale Movie where you also discover who Number 1 is.

Somewhere out in the Atlantic Ocean there isa quaint seaside village with a lone white weather balloon crying as it ominously bounces down the beach its guarding.

Goodbye Number 6!

On a side note, it was one of the SF Cacophony Society founders, Carrie Galbraith that introduced many of us to “The Prisoner” decades ago. This show had quite an influence on the early SFCS.

KTEH would run the series in its entirety ever summer.

So sad. I loved The Prisoner when I was younger, bought the DVD boxset a couple of years back. Gonna watch a couple of episodes tonight in memorandum :)
