Parade, An Interactive Installation That Features Seemingly Impossible Dancing Shadows

In the intriguing interactive installation “Parade,” the shadows of two vases appear to dance whenever a lamp hanging above them is moved. The effect is actually achieved through a hidden projector, motion tracker, and real-time 3D rendering. The installation is a collaboration between digital agency Dpt. and artist Laurent Craste. It was displayed recently at the Chromatic festival in Montreal
