One Day On Earth, A Visual Time Capsule

One Day on Earth is an incredibly ambitious project to create a visual time capsule of October 10, 2010 (10/10/10) as it came to pass in places all around the world. Ten thousand filmmakers and photographers representing every country responded with 3,000 hours of video, and many thousands of photos all shot during that 24 hour period. All the captured media is saved in a geotagged archive, the photos are destined for a photobook, and a feature length film is currently in post production. Project founder Kyle Ruddick is raising money on Kickstarter to finance completion of the film.
