Noria is a new smart window air conditioner that is smaller and lighter than traditional models. The frame of the device is installed first and the unit is then simply inserted, making the installation less laborious than trying to hold a heavier unit in an open window while the frame is adjusted. Users can program the unit or manually adjust the temperature with a simple knob on the device or through a smartphone app.

The Noria was created by Philadelphia-based Likuma Labs. They are now raising money to mass produce the Noria air conditioner with a Kickstarter campaign.
