New Color Version of “Forbidden Zone” by Oingo Boingo

The 1982 musical comedy film “Forbidden Zone” directed by Richard Elfman and scored by Danny Elfman (his first film score), featuring their band The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, has just been re-released in a new colorized version which is now available on DVD. The debut screening of the color version takes place this Wednesday, July 30th at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles.

so strange. i always thought it was in color. it must have been the music that made it “colorful”. love boingo!

LOL.. I always thought the original film was in color too… Its funny how your memory can play tricks on you :)
