Musician Rob Scallon Skillfully Plays a Banjo Strung With Four Bass Strings While Sitting in a Cornfield

While sitting atop his car surrounded by cornfields, an overall-clad Rob Scallon, master of many things instrumental, slapped out a neat little number on a four-string banjo strung with strings for a bass. It was something he had borrowed from a friend.

Borrowed this banjo bass, or bass banjo, or bass-jo or whatever this instrument might be called from a friend of mine and went out to the country to play it in an appropriate setting. Then I forgot how to get home though and have yet to find my way back… I’m still surrounded by corn and do not know what to do. If I make it back to Chicago I’ll see me next week.
