Mr. Robot Stars Rami Malek and Christian Slater Answer Questions About Their Use of Technology

While hanging out at the annual SXSW event in Austin, Texas, actors Christian Slater and Rami Malek, from the sleeper hit show Mr. Robot, sat down with Mashable Watercooler and answered a number of questions about their technology preferences and habits. The questions included such things as emoticons, favorite online animals, how to properly pronounce GIF, email habits and first computers.

Christian Slater: I like the guy with the smile and the tears. You know, like laughing so hard that he’s actually crying. Oh, that’s good. You’re not a big emoji fan.
Rami Malek: No.
CS: But I send you emojis. It’s an insane way to communicate.
RM: Yeah, but sometimes it really gets the point across
