Over the weekend our sys admin Michael Biven traveled to Baltimore to celebrate his brother Brian’s birthday, surprising him with a special birthday cake created in the shape of the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. The cake was made by Charm City Cakes, a Baltimore bakery owned by Duff Goldman that makes unique custom cakes and is featured in the Food Network reality television show Ace of Cakes. Keep an eye on for the cake’s appearance on an episode in September.

Here’s Mike’s write-up and gallery of Millennium Falcon Birthday Cake photos.

Woah, sweet cake! I hope they actually do show it being made on Ace of Cakes because that looks pretty complicated … I really want to see how it was done!
