Clearly this is funny as hell, but it seems nasty, and mean spirited.

What is the goal? To make people feel bad? When the vegans show cows being slaughtered on the square in Vienna there is the revulsion, but there is also the message: eating meat leads to this, you are part of this. And when abortion protesters show horrible fetus pictures to women seeking abortions there is revulsion, but also a message: here is what you are doing. There is a link between revulsion and a desired action.

But what is the link here? If you are interested in consumer electronics you are getting it up the ass?

Pranking the Think Different ads was funny, and the link to Apple’s attempt to coopt what is real in order to sell boxes followed Are you really thinking different because your computer is white rather than beige? But saying hey ‘you walked into the apple store, so you deserve this’ seems mean spirited.

We need more clever pranks, not more mean pranks.

Haha, this is awesome. Though, it doesn’t beat when two of my friends broadcast it over the Distance Learning Network throughout the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Imagine about eight different classrooms full of high school (and possibly middle school) kids getting Goatse suddenly flashed in their faces.
