MakerBot has announced its fifth generation of new Replicator 3D printers, including the MakerBot Replicator Mini Compact 3D Printer, the standard MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer, and the extra-large MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D Printer. All three printers include a camera for monitoring printing progress and a Smart Extruder that can automatically pause your print when you run out of filament. Both the Desktop and the Z18 include a 3.5-inch color LCD display, and all three will have USB, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printer is currently available to purchase on the MakerBot website, and the other two models are expected to ship in Spring 2014.
