Since 2009, Budapest transit company BKV has been running special Christmas streetcars during the holiday season. Last winter, three streetcars decorated with 30,000 lights each operated in the city in December and January. The streetcars are quite a sight to behold, and photographers in Budapest have taken quite a few wonderful long exposures of the trains at night.
