Bremen, Germany-based illustrator Autun Purser has created “Fantastic Travel Destinations,” a collection of illustrations depicting locations from literature as colorful travel posters. The collection of 40 illustrations includes the planet Arrakis from Dune by Frank Herbert, Tycho from Arthur C. Clarke’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, Yuggoth as described by H.P. Lovecraft, the mysterious ocean from Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne, and even locations from The Lord of the Rings. Posters, postcards, and a book of the “Fantastic Travel Destinations” collection are available to purchase online from Purser’s website.
