Little Vagabonds

Little Vagabonds (named in honor of a Jonathan Richman lyric) is a show of new work by San Francisco artists Hugh D’Andrade and Mati McDonough that opens at A.Muse Gallery in San Francisco this Friday, February 13th and runs through April 1st.

Artists Hugh D’Andrade and Mati McDonough are not afraid of saturated color and bold, graphic imagery. Their paintings are populated by stormy oceans, hot pink skies, angelic bikers and talking elephants, with influences as diverse as traditional folk art, pulp fiction covers, rock posters, children’s book illustration, and the music of Jonathan Richman. The two have teamed up to present their new show “Little Vagabonds” on view from Friday, February 13 until April Fools Day.
