Laurie Anderson Is Putting On a Low Decibel Concert in Times Square That Only Dogs Can Hear

Heart of a Dog

Renowned performance artist Laurie Anderson, in partnership with Times Square Arts, is putting on a low-decibel concert that only dogs can hear. Humans will have headphones to help them hear what’s going on. The concert is a partner piece to her new film, Heart of a Dog, which benefits 9/11 rescue dogs. The event starts at 11:45 at Duffy Square, but attendees should arrive at 11:30 to pick up their headphones. Dogs, of course, are welcome.

The event will begin at 11:30pm to midnight to accompany the video playing on the electronic billboards from 11:57 pm to midnight. Headphones will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
