Laughing Squid officially turns 13 today. What a great journey it’s been so far.

We celebrated earlier this year at our Lucky 13 party.

Happy Birthday, Laughing Squid! I may be slightly older, but our birthdays are only one day apart (pssst, mine's tomorrow). Congrats, Scott!

Happy Birthday! Us “old” web communities have to stick together. Is there such a thing as an old-folks-home for websites? These damn “2.0″ whippersnappers today, I tell ya. In our day, we had to hand-code HTML in notepad. None of these fancy-pants “CMSes,” none of the “wordpress” nonsense.

Go squidy, it's your birthday
We gonna party, like it's your birthday
We gonna sip Bicardi, like it's your birthday
And you know we don't give a f***, cuz it's your birthday

Hooray! Crazy how time passes, eh? I was going through old receipts and found I had been shopping at Amazon for at least 12 years. Unpossible!

Happy birthday! My recommendation? Deodorant, especially now that you'll be almost exclusively obsessed with wooing your new crush.
