I’d just like to say that MANY cool things have happened at CellSpace. Scott & Lori’s wedding there was one of the most memorable things for me. Glad to see Dave X back at the original venue. Chris Campbell built the cool ass wooden bridge that spans the space amidship(ish.) Exuse my mangling of the nautical idiom……

Dude. CELLspace looks prettty rad. They also seem to have some interesting classes. The silkscreening workshops, in particular, caught my eye.

Hey Scott and the LS online community,

Thanks so much for the great pics of CELLspace, and the post, and the upcoming event (don’t know about the “dude” joke though). We in the CELL events cluster are doing our best to get performance and fun back in the space that is CELL. Some events coming up: Mud Wrestling on Leap Day, Fog CIty Wrestling, and weekly Tango on Wednesdays. Did I mention Hooping class on Sundays, and the ever popular clothing swaps???

I almost forgot that we’re offering great stuff if you become a member: stickers and tees with artwork by Hugh Dandrade, show discounts, etc.???

While Laughing Squid events are open to the public you must know the know the password to get past door security.

The new password for the 2008 CELLspace event is: “Dude”

yeah i thought it was some exclusive members only, cool kids of the internet, 10000+ hits a day, kind of event, dude.

i was not aware that it was open for commoners such as myself. perhaps if i ever clicked thru past the original post i would know such things.

ps: im not a member of facebook/myspace/friendster/squidlist and dont even know what pownce or upcoming are. cleary im in over my head here.

i hope everyone on this thread uses “dude” so we can sound like that budweiser commercial b/c that ish was funny.

“dude”! Are you serious? I thought LS events were invite only and dinner were 800 dollars a plate! I only attend events that are black tie. Sorry I can’t make it

What list are you referring to “dude”? This event is open to the public. In fact all of the events we have produced over the last decade have been public events.

What gives you the impression that it’s a private event? It’s posted publicly on the blog (like this post for instance), Squid List, Upcoming, Facebook & Pownce.

I hope you aren’t saying that you haven’t attended past events because you thought that they might have been secret, invite-only events.

So, what I’m saying is come on out.
