Comedian Larry Wilmore hosted the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C. on April 30, 2016. Wilmore poked fun at outgoing President Barack Obama over recent events and his two terms in office as a whole. Wilmore also made jokes about the media and the current election cycle.
President Obama also took the stage for his final White House Correspondents’ Dinner which concluded in a literal mic drop. His remarks also included a short film about what he plans to do after leaving the White House.
