La Tour des Cedres, A ‘Vertical Forest’ High-Rise That Will House Human Residents and More Than 100 Trees

La Tour des Cedres is a planned high-rise “vertical forest” building in Lausanne, Switzerland that will house human residents and more than 100 trees. The design by architect Stefano Boeri which uses a similar concept of tree integration as his Bosco Verticale building in Milan, Italy.

The project is a collaboration between Studio Laura Gatti and BuroHappold Engineering and will begin construction in 2017.
