Kodomoroid, A Lifelike Japanese News-Reading Android

Kodomoroid is a lifelike Japanese news-reading android created by robotics professor Hiroshi Ishiguro. The android, whose name is a combination of the Japanese word for child and android, was revealed today during a event hailing it as the “world’s first” news-reading android. Kodomoroid is scheduled to work and gather data in Tokyo’s National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.
