- Xeni just posted some information on Boing Boing on how the tech community can help with the Katrina disaster.

- Earthlink has launched HurricaneHelp to “help connect Hurricane Katrina victims with their friends and family”.

- Metroblogging New Orleans has been providing excellent hurricane recover coverage all week long. Christiana of Metroblogging San Francisco just posted information on how you can help the Metroblogging New Orleans bloggers and their families.

- craigslist new orleans is another great resouce for victims of Katrina, especially their community, lost & found and housing forums.

- Technorati has created a special page for Hurricane Katrina coverage.

- The Interdictor is a Survival of New Orleans blog (via Dan Gillmor) . They have also setup an irc channel: irc.freenode.net#interdictor

- Of course donations can always be made directly through the Red Cross.

- Here’s an uncut radio interview with C. Ray Nagin, the Mayor of New Orleans. He’s really pissed about the lack of state and federal response to this disaster. Wow, you have to listen to this one. (via Kevin Smokler)

Its good to see laughing squid trying to help out. I am on the other side of the world (in Australia) and its terrible hearing what has happened.
