John Collins, aka the Paper Airplane Guy, appeared on Conan to talk about breaking the Guinness World Record for long-distance indoor paper airplane flight. On February 26, 2012, Collins’ paper airplane design “Suzanne” was thrown 226 feet and 10 inches, breaking the past record. In the segment, he shows off some of his cool trick paper airplanes and says “I’m willing to give someone $1,000 to throw my design and break the Guinness World Record.” To sweeten the deal, host Conan O’Brien will chip in another $20 if someone breaks it. The design is included in Collin’s new book, The New World Champion Paper Airplane Book.
